Land Grab – Phase 2

Ten more Ametheran Land Areas will be available for the final phase of the Land Grab 2008 on Saturday, the 8th of March at 18:00 UTC.

Let’s hope this time without the technical problems they had last time.

Entropia Update 9.2.4

Today MindArk released a small clientsided Version Update for Entropia Universe, addressing a few problems with the latetest Landgrab event.

Version Update 9.2.4

5 March 2008

Changes to death sequence: The ‘Do you want to revive?’ question has been removed. Instead a ten second countdown timer is automatically initiated. The ghost will automatically be moved to a revival terminal when the countdown finishes. The participant can manually choose to abort the countdown and then the ghost will remain in place for as long the participant chooses. NOTE: If the ghost is within a land grab area the countdown is 300 seconds (5 minutes) and the participant cannot manually abort the countdown sequence.

The land grab grace period (the time the defending team can wait with no presence until the claim becomes neutral) has been reduced from 30 seconds to 10 seconds.

During a land grab battle, the safe zone surrounding the fertilizer station is deactivated.

New feature: Reviews

Starting with today I will be reviewing some of the many shops in Entropia and a little bit about them, their service and quality of content and for Entropians most important: the prices.

If you want to your (or your favorite) shop to be reviewed, send me a mail to silverberg.odessa@googlemail.com. From time to time i’ll pick up a random shop location for the review and completly unannounced so the shop owners can’t simply tweak their shop for the review to make it look better than it is.
