Second Life: Earn2Life Update

As mentioned in my last post, i was going to test the web-offers with by installing the toolbar. For security reasons, I’ve set up safe environment where I could install the toolbar without any risk of compromising my actual working PC, which I also use for job and contains sensible data from the company I work for. After all, one have to be careful with software you install on your PC.

Second Life: Earn money with Earn2Life

A few weeks ago, I was exploring Second Life and looking for a way to make a few Lindens. There were many services which pretend to let you earn some quick Lindens. Most of them however were either for US only or just scams which didn’t pay off, after you did completed the task.

After a while, I found a reference to Earn2Life and tried it out. I was very surprised by the possibilities to make money.

Mini Update/Hotfix: No auction order for Limited Items

Today the option to place orders for limited (L) auctions was removed from the auction house without any futher information from MindArk.

Since this is pretty vague, i did some research in order to gather more information about this action.

Free Gold Card!

Today MindArk announced that they will be offering free gold card all participants who deposted more than 5000 PED.

MindArk offers all participants without a Gold Card that have deposited over 5000 PED a free Gold Card kit. Log in to ‘My Section > My Account’ to claim yours now.

While 5000 PED is a little bit to high, this is a very good step MindArk attempted to increase the security of players who invested much into this game. That’s very good news. Let’s hope the requirements gets lowered a little bit in the near future.

Entropian Ambassadors and Landgrab 2008

MindArk is looking for Entropian Ambassadors from Sweden, Australia and Canada to join them for a few days.

At the same time MindArk also announced the final stage of the Landgrab Event 2008,
which was canceled in the last moment. Let’s hope, they used the meantime to fix some bugs and technical problems, which made the last Landgrab a one huge disaster. In this phase, 10 Landareas will be available to fight for at Saturday March 22nd at 18:00 UTC.

Update: MindArk updated the news and adding a comment that they will reimburse all costs for all Ambassadors.

Just to confirm, Mindark will reimburse travel cost, organize and pay for hotel.
You will also receive daily “out of pocket” expenses.
